  1. Hi David,

I have been thrifty most of my life and growing up with three sisters and one brother I learned the value of a dollar at a very young age. I am also an extreme couponer and get many items for free or for pennies on the dollar.

To save money anytime when it comes to shopping for clothes I shop second-hand and sometimes even garage sales.

At places like Goodwill you can shop their already rock-bottom prices on bi-monthly half-price or dollar days. Many of the clothing items have tags on them or have been gently worn. Designer brands for pennies on the dollar keeps a wallet happy!

Plus, when people shop at places like Goodwill, Salvation Army, Disabled American Veterans it helps people with job training, transition, counseling and other essential services.

In this challenging economy it is essential to become smarter with our money. Supporting people that benefit from our purchases does the heart good as well!
