I just called one of my credit card companies that has a 29.99% APR, thanks to your suggesstion. I have been their customer for 15 years, and have a credit score of 720 and felt like I deserved a better rate. I asked what they could do to lower my rate, and they came back with a non-variable 15.99% APR for me – effective today! Thanks for giving me the courage to call them.
Great blog. I really didn’t understand much about APR and since my debit card was frauded last year, I’ve tried to make an effort to understand everything I can about credit and debit cards
