Talked to supervisors used all the lingo suggested, and I was unable to lower our rate. I was told the only way to lower the rate is when promotions for existing customers are available. I am a bit frustrated. But I will continue to call back to check if there are promotions. FYI our rate is 19.1 we have super prime credit scores (over 800) we've had this card for over ten years. Until last year the rate was always under 10%. Just ran the gamut… Talked to supervisors used all the lingo suggested, and I was unable to lower our rate. We have NEVER been late, in fact we've NEVER carried a balance over from one month to the next (we use the card for the points). So, when I called and asked for the rate to be lowered back to where it was before, they almost laughed at me. I was angry. I've tried multiple times. We have impeccable credit and I feel like them raising our rates is insulting to our business relationship with them.
