According to a recent survey, many homeowners were not aware that their standard homeowner's policy does not cover any personal property or equipment that's used for business. Not only that but if a client was to get hurt on your property, those injuries would not be covered through the liability portion of your homeowner's insurance. My tip today: if you use your home for business purposes, make sure you have proper coverage. Buy a separate business policy. I'm David Bach.
