My husband and I met in 1997 married two years later in Sept 1999, and are a combined family of 3 children who were 3,4 & 5 at the time we met. Since that time we knew that we needed to buy a home and start building equity. We saw what our family members were doing and wanted to be the same way. It was not until early 2002 that we were able to find something affordable and the loan made sense. We had to move almost an hour away from the big city of Sacramento and commute back in for our jobs.
